About us

Who we are

We are a UK based organisation working to provide accessible dog training and education, specialising in Assistance Dogs.

Our vision is for dogs to open the doors to new opportunities and independence.

Our mission

The objects of the Company are to carry out activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to enable disabled people to train their own dogs to become Assistance dogs and to educate the general public and service providers on topics relating to Assistance Dogs.

Our story

PAWtected was founded in August 2017 by a group of assistance dog handlers, trainers and teachers coming together to train our dogs to a recognised standard with ethical training methods.

We developed our own structured program of training and support so that we could help others.

Our management

PAWtected CIC is run by a team of volunteers. We are proud to work as a non-profit community interest company. All funds are used directly to achieve our objectives and run our activities.

Registered community interest company number 13487994.
